UNESCO Bangkok has a Project Office established in Yangon, Mayanmar. Through this, and in collaboration with the National Commission for Myanmar, UNESCO Bangkok is able to develop programmes and take action in Myanmar. 

UNESCO’s action in Myanmar reflect the UN Strategic Framework for Myanmar 2012-2015.

UNESCO Bangkok is currently preparing a UNESCO Country Planning Document Myanmar 2012-2015.
