The Secretariat is called the administrator of the MOW Fund.

It is responsible for the administration of the Programme.

Its role includes:

      • services to the International Advisory Committee

      • establishment and maintenance of the MOW Register

      • monitoring the Programme

      • administration of Sub-Committees

The Secretariat provides regular reports to: 

      • the International Advisory Committee

      • the Director-General of UNESCO
