"Cultural Resource Management Using Cultural Mapping"

Pakistan Workshop on Cultural Mapping and Cultural Resource Management: Training for Architects, archaeologists, government servants, site managers and prospective cultural heritage conservation and management MPhil/PhD candidates

In parallel with the objective of introducing the concept of cultural diversity programming lens, the workshop was designed to introduce participants to culture mapping and its applications in cultural resource management for the preservation of tangible and intangible cultural expressions. Through participative discussions and exercises, the participants were equipt to undertake a cultural map of a site with cultural significance, present and interpret cultural data that can serve as a focal technique to provide cultural insight.
