Muntok's Old Town, South Sumatera 

The old town of Muntok is the oldest town in Bangka Belitung Islands province. The town was established by Sultan Mahmud Baddarudin I in 1733 with the start of tin mining in Bangka. This project was started in 2003 and restored groups of old Chinese buildings, a Malay residential complex, old European residential buildings, a pier at the harbor and the lighthouse. Throughout the process, the project built up collaboration between the professional team and the local community and government. Today, the town remains historically significant with diverse cultures and nationalities.
 

Museum Bank Mandiri, Jakata

The Museum Bank Mandiri was built in 1929 as the District Office for the Nederlandsche Handel Maatschappij. It displays a hybrid architectural style, with a mixture of Indian style and Nieuw Zakelijk style. A conservation and restoration project was prepared in 2003 through private funding with government support. The building was transformed into a museum bank upon competition of restoration work in 2005.
