Rachamankha, Chiang Mai

The Rachamankha is a hotel located in the old city of Chiang Mai completed in 2000. While it is a new construction, it has been built using the techniques and structural design of the Lanna period. The project sought to retain the character and sense of age of the property and has resulted in a design that tries to reflect a past period of the city's history.

Tamarind Village, Chiang Mai

The Tamarind Village, a new hotel located in the old city of Chiang Mai, Thailand was built on an empty site with a view of the historic U-Mong temple and a tamarind tree that was estimated to be at least 200 years old. This project used the techniques and structural design of the Lanna period and has added another traditional-style building to the antique city of Chiang Mai.
