Minimum Standards for Education in Emergencies Training of Trainers Workshop for Southeast and East Asia and the Pacific

International Mother Language Day

In Beijing, various organizations have joined hands to organize a seminar and exhibit to mark the International Mother Tongue Day. The event will be on the theme "Promote Mother Tongue Education, Promote Multi-Cultures". The Beijing Language and Culture University will host the event in collaboration with UNESCO Beijing, the China National Commission for UNESCO, the China Education Association for International Exchange and the China National Office of Teaching Chinese as Foreign Language, among others.

EFA/Global Action Week: Every Child Needs a Teacher

The 2007 version of the annual EFA Global Monitoring Report, which tracks how countries are faring in achieving Education for All (EFA), focuses on early childhood care and education (ECCE). It contains valuable education data and findings including regional summaries.
