The Guidelines will be useful for countries undertaking the EFA assessment. It includes a proposed outline for the assessment report, a list of proposed indicators for the six EFA goals, a framework for analysis, and encourages the use of disaggregated data to identify disparities. This document will continue to be revised. Updated versions will be posted on this page.
EFA MDA Regional Planning Meeting Report: Country Recommendations (pdf/940KB)
Published by UNESCO Bangkok's AIMS Unit, the Asia-Pacific Office of the UIS Regional Advisor, it contains recommendations on specific issues related to each EFA goal that should be studied as part of the assessment and recommendations on how to make the process participatory, relevant and effective. This report can be a useful reference for countries planning to assess their progress and gaps in achieving the EFA goals.
