Indonesia EFA Mid-Decade Assessment Planning Workshop

The national EFA assessment was launched in Indonesia during the National Planning Workshop for the Undertaking of EFA Mid-Decade Assessment. The workshop was held in Jakarta on 31 July and 1 August 2006, participated in by Government and other National stakeholders. 

During the workshop, the EFA MDA Task Force was established. Draft work plans and draft timeframes were also developed. Participants also recommended areas requiring financial/technical assistance.

Results of the workshop was presented during a meeting of the Education Sector Working Group (ESWG) and other donor agencies on 2 August 2006. Read more

The workshop and ESWG meeting were organized by the Ministry of National Education with technical support from UNESCO Jakarta and UNESCO Bangkok's AIMS Unit, the Office of the UNESCO Institute for Statistics Regional Advisor for Asia-Pacific.
