9th Regional Meeting of National EFA Coordinators/Education for All (EFA) Mid-Term Policy Review Conferences

The 9th Regional Meeting of National EFA Coordinators were carried out in South-East Asia and South Asia alongside Sub-Regional EFA Mid-Term Policy Review Conferences, of which aimed to translate findings of the EFA Mid-Decade Assessment (MDA) into concrete actions by identifying policy gaps and proposing new policies and strategies towards reaching the unreached groups in education. The sub-regional conferences used the national EFA MDA reports, the respective sub-regional EFA MDA reports and the 2008 EFA Global Monitoring report as main references.
The conferences were organized by the Regional Office of the UNESCO Institute for Statistics, UIS-AIMS Unit of UNESCO Bangkok in collaboration with EFA partners in the region. For more information, email aims.bgk[at]unesco.org or efa.bgk[at]unesco.org.
