The ERI Net Steering Group (SG) was established in October 2013 as a response to an increasing need to make ERI-Net activities more sector-wide, strategic and visible, with eight SG members elected to serve the role on a rotational basis, to be renewed every two years.  On 1-2 April 2014, the ERI-Net Secretariat at UNESCO organized the second ERI-Net SG Meeting, which was attended by representatives from partner universities, research institutions and the private sector.
