Phase II: Developing the Toolkit (2004-2005)

This phase of the project concentrated on developing the framework of the Policy Makers' Toolkit. A meeting was held in March 2004 which brought together experts in the field to share their ideas and create an outline of the Toolkit. Following the meeting, the Toolkit was further developed by consultants in cooperation with UNESCO.
Key Outcomes
- ICT in education policy-makers' toolkit content outline and blueprint produced
The toolkit content outline and blueprint was finalized in a workshop in March 2004, incorporating the inputs of the fourteen experts from the Commonwealth of Learning, the Education Development Centre, Knowledge Enterprises, the North Central Regional Education Laboratory, PRELSTAR, and the World Bank Institute, as well as policy-makers and practitioners from Cambodia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Samoa and Thailand.
