What is "Bridges to Learning"?

Bridges to Learning is a telecollaboration initiative implemented as part of the UNESCO SchoolNet project. Telecollaboration is collaborative learning between classes using the Internet, social software and other tools.
This initiative involves establishing Learning Circles, in which classes in different schools and countries collaborate on learning activities over the Internet.
Several training sessions and workshops have been held to train the teachers participating in the SchoolNet project in how to conduct Learning Circles and telecollaboration activities. These workshops were held in Chiang Mai in December 2005, and in Bangkok in March and April 2004.
