Ridwan Othman

Ridwan has been in the eLearning and Education Industry for over 13 years. An advocate of the constructivist approach to learning, he believes that pedagogy and learning should drive technology and not the other way around. Understanding how learning takes place and how the learners of today process and perceive information is as important, if not more, than understanding the affordances of various technologies that can help enhance that learning.

He has trained adult learners and educators in eLearning instructional design, pedagogies relating to educational technology, facilitation skills and also problem-based learning. He is currently a Regional Project Manager for Promethean delivering and managing large-scale educational technology projects with various MOEs and Government bodies  in the Asian region.
