explania – Explanations through animations
20.01.2012Explania collects instructional / explanatory animated videos created by multimedia company Instruxion. Although the videos were made primarily for companies who want to explain their product or service to a target audience, many of these clips are still relevant and useful to both teachers and students.

Get tips on how to choose a safe password on your computer. Some of the clips let you interact with the elements on screen, hence making it more interesting for the viewer.
Although it covers a wide range of topics (health, technology, work, software, sports), Explania has fewer videos than for example YouTube - but there are still a lot of videos that can be used in a school or classroom setting.
What's more, these animations can be embedded readily into another website, say a teacher or a student's blog. Expect a lot more educational video clips from Explania as it constantly builds up its collection of educational videos.
