UNESCO Education Community
Hosted by UNESCO Bangkok, the portal enables educators from around the world to network with one another, seek and share advice and resources, participate in interactive forums and join or form groups to work together on international projects. It is a free resource accessible to all involved with education (registration required).

The Teachers Engage section is the main hub for the community and where you will find general discussions and resources focusing on  effective uses of technology in the K-12 classroom.

Merlot Community Portal
MERLOT, a program of the California State University, has created a variety of Community Portals categorized by discipline and program area to provide users with "one-stop shopping" centers for a broad spectrum of resources related to online teaching and learning. Community Portals provide MERLOT members with differentiated information about exemplary teaching strategies professional associations, journals, conferences, and other resources for continuous professional development. 

EU School Network
A free and safe community and platform for teachers to connect, develop collaborative projects and share ideas among schools in Europe.

TVET Discussion Board
Provides an online discussion board where TVET teachers and practitioners from around the world can share information and knowledge about different aspects of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
