ICT Resources for Teachers CD-ROM

This CD-ROM contains a set of ICT-based resources for teaching and learning of science, mathematics and language for secondary-level students, including simulations, video clips, interactive learning objects for quizzes, animation, and other kinds of multimedia learning activities.

The materials are organized according to subjects and a separate directory is provided to give an overall view of the types of resources available.

This CD-ROM, titled “ICT Resources for Teaching and Learning of Science, Mathematics and Language”, was created as part of the UNESCO SchoolNet Project, “Strengthening ICT in Schools and SchoolNet project in ASEAN Setting”.

The UNESCO SchoolNet Project, which is supported by Japanese Funds-in-Trust and the ASEAN Foundation, aims to strengthen ICT integration in schools in a systematic way. One of the project objectives is to provide teachers with quality ICT-based resources (materials and lessons plans) for teaching and learning.

The materials and lesson plans provided here are relevant to the science, mathematics and language curricula of the participating ASEAN countries: Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand and Viet Nam.

The resources on the CD-ROM were collected by Buenafe Abdon, John Henly, Marilyn Jeffrey and Philip Wong, and were put together in the CD-ROM by Dr. Philip Wong and his team from the National Institute of Education, Singapore.

All applets and interactive learning objects on this CD-ROM have been added with permission by their owners/creators. Some materials are under the Creative Commons License scheme. The respective owners and creators own the copyright.
