Methodologies used

Countries usually employ a combination of teaching methodologies and the more common ones that are usually used together include lectures/presentations, discussions, group work/activities, computer hands-on and practicum.

Other methodologies also employed are:

  • Constructivist learning approach where learners are encouraged o participate in a generative learning experience by participating in small group discussions, paired projects, peer review activities

One curious questionnaire filled out from Mongolia reported of teacher training session on Using PC in teaching (includes PC structure, operating systems, Word processing, spreadsheets) where the methodologies used only include lectures/presentations.
