This photo e-exhibition presents 30 shortlisted submissions to a regional competition organized by UNESCO Bangkok aiming to show a new face of technical and vocational education and training (TVET) in the Asia-Pacific region.

For decades, we understand that TVET has been less visible and often less popular among other choices of further education. These powerful images break through this stereotype by showing a learning path into which people put all their hopes and aspirations for a better future. They capture moments of learning both inside and outside the workplace that give a great sense of pride.

The photos were showcased at an exhibition launched at the Asia-Pacific Conference on Education and Training (ACET) organized by UNESCO in collaboration with the Ministry of Education of Malaysia from 3-5 August 2015 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
