Technical and vocational education and training (TVET) is a learning path which aims to provide knowledge, skills and attitudes for employment or self-employment. Often, however, post-secondary vocational education is considered less attractive than higher education, with the perception that TVET institutions use tools and techniques that bear little relevance to those used in the workplace.

But is this perception outdated?

   •  How is the face of vocational education changing in light of technological advances in the Asia-Pacific?

   •  How are TVET schools integrating sustainability into their practices?

   •  Are partnerships being utilized to improve learning outcomes in TVET?

   •  Are girls and women acquiring skills in occupations previously considers a reserve of men?

Can you visualize it?

We are interested to receive submissions from professional and amateur photographers that capture moments illustrating the world of education and training in the Asia-Pacific region. Images of learning into which people put all their aspirations and hopes for a better future. Moments of learning inside and outside the work place that give a great sense of pride.

We want to see examples of skills development in action!

Deadline for Submission: 12 July 2015
