Education for Human Resource Development: The Case for Humanity

Education today is a ‘big’ word; in fact a ‘big’ business. It has been mentioned in many development agendas notably those that are underscored by “globalisation” and “internationalisation.” Accordingly, ‘education’ gets redefined in order to meet the kind of ‘human resource’ that must be developed to fit such agendas. Whether it provides long-term solutions for the 21st century and beyond is the question that begs for answers!
This presentation will attempt to seek out some of the answers especially in the context of humanity!
