First Education Sector Strategy on HIV & AIDS discussed at workshop in Nepal
29.12.2011The national workshop on “HIV and AIDS Policy and Strategy for Education Sector” was jointly organized by the UNESCO Office in Kathmandu and the Ministry of Education in December 2011.
The workshop aimed to seek feedback and suggestions from stakeholders to improve the draft HIV and AIDS Policy and Strategy document.
UNESCO has been supporting the Ministry of Education to mainstream HIV in the education sector in order to achieve the objectives of the national HIV and AIDS policy and strategic plan 2011-2016.
