2015 Annual jury meeting for Heritage Awards, 15-17 June

The annual jury meeting for the 2015 UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation will take place at UNESCO Bangkok from 15-17 June.

Over 35 entries were submitted overall, with the Award for New Design in Heritage Contexts attracting a larger number of entries than previous years. The submitted projects cover a wide range of project typologies, from churches to entire urban districts.  Each project will be deliberated by a panel of expert judges from across the Asia-Pacific region.

The winners will be selected based upon the Award criteria, which include for the conservation category, how well the project has demonstrated understanding the place, the technical achievements and the social and policy impact of the project.

The Award winners will be announced at the end of August 2015 with each winner being notified individually.
