UNESCO Bangkok offers an on-the-job training opportunity for graduate and post-graduate students worldwide to enhance their academic knowledge and educational experience through practical work assignments as a part of the internship and volunteer programme. Subject to submission of the application form, internship or volunteer assignments can last up to six months and are not required to enroll full-time. Interns and volunteers are incorporated in the work as a junior team member under the supervision of a unit chief. However, remuneration and employment expectation are not offered.

Visa requirements
The intern/volunteer is responsible for obtaining any necessary visas to enter Thailand. For internship less than two months, a tourist visa will be sufficient, while a non-immigrant visa should be obtained if the internship lasts two to six months. We recommend that you consult the Official website of Thailand Immigration Bureau for the information on visa and entry requirements.
Insurance
Our office will provide interns/volunteers with basic on-the-job insurance. It is recommended to have additional health and travel insurance.
