ENTER NOW! UNESCO Bangkok and the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Thailand’s World Press Freedom Day Youth Poster Competition

Call for Entries:

World Press Freedom Day (WPFD) 2014 is on 3 May and this year UNESCO Bangkok and the Foreign Correspondents' Club of Thailand (FCCT) want Asia-Pacific youth to get involved on this important occasion.

If you are between the ages of 18-35 and live in Asia-Pacific, you are invited to create and send us a poster that answers the question: Why is press freedom important?

Show us why media freedoms are essential in our region to promote social equality, democracy, sustainable development, poverty reduction and cultural preservation. Those are just a few suggested possibilities – we want you to show us why a free press matters!
