This report is the outcome of the Eightth UNESCO-ACEID International Conference on Innovations in Secondary Education: Meeting the Needs of Adolescents and Youth in Asia and the Pacific held on 26-29 November 2002, Bangkok. The specific objectives of the conference were: (1) to facilitate regional and international policy dialogue on key issues of secondary education reforms; (2) to share succesful innovations in secondary education in meeting the needs of adolescents and youth; and (3) to promote regional/international partnership and networking for secondary education systems.
