The award ceremony will be scheduled for 27 May 2012 at Wat Thepthidaram, Bangkok, Thailand started at 09.00

			<title>Meeting of Asia-Pacific ICH Category II Centres in Bangkok sees ways towards collaboration</title>

			<description>The discussions during the meeting reflected the need for more networking among the four Centres in China, Iran, Japan and Republic of Korea, in order to enhance  the goal of  safeguarding intangible cultural heritage in the Asia Pacific region. The focus was on increased collaboration among ICH Centres, including linking the Centres’ websites, planning some joint projects and arrangements for future and regular sessions of the meeting.

The representatives of the Centres who attended the meeting were:

Mr Yang Zhi (Director) and Ms Xu Mingji (Programme Manager) from the International Training Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region under the Auspices of UNESCO (CRIHAP), Beijing, China
