The Director of ZOA Thailand Simon Purnell introduces a global tool focusing on ensuring educational quality and access in emergencies for over 75 million children and youth affected by crisis.

The 2010 edition of the INEE Minimum Standards has gathered good practice from thousands of users of the first edition and highlighted that education is an essential survival intervention in emergencies, but also a priority that brings about hope and enables opportunities.

Over 30 participants, including academics, researchers, government officials and representatives from international organizations attended the launch on 12 July 2010 at the INEE Good Practice Tools Regional Launch at UNECO Asia Pacific Regional Bureau for Education in Bangkok, Thailand.
