Jacqueline Ann Surin, Editor and Co-Founder of Malaysia's news portal, The Nut Graph, tells us what it's like being a woman in journalism and what changes she would like to see in regards to the role of women on the occasion of International Women's Day, 8 March 2013, and the 'Women Make the News' campaign.

Ms. Surin has been a journalist for nearly 20 years. She worked in a traditional press before moving to online news.

She attended this week's 'Training of the Trainers – Know Your Rights: Navigating the laws that influence the work of the media' in Chiang Mai.
