Internship opportunities

RUSHSAP welcomes interns to learn about UNESCO’s programmes in social and human sciences, and to assist in the implementation of activities.  RUSHSAP covers a very broad scope of activities, and maintains high scholarly standards linking research to policy making.

Interns come from all around the world, having a variety of backgrounds and will join a geographically and disciplinary mixed group of persons in the unit. Interns may be enrolled in an advanced undergraduate or  post-graduate degree programme or hold a degree.  The term is usually 3-6 months. Also in the unit are visiting professors, researchers, government officials, and other partners.

Please be advised that internship opportunities are limited and are undertaken on a voluntary basis.  UNESCO does not have funding to cover international airfare to Bangkok, living stipend or consultancy fees. 

Applications will be screened by the Regional Adviser for Social and Human Sciences in Asia and the Pacific.
