Responsibility Brief: Based at the UIS New Delhi Cluster Office, Shailendra’s responsibilities include assisting various ministries involved in the fields of competence of UNESCO through participation in national activities aimed at improving statistics. He also coordinates at the country-level, UIS assistance in education, culture and communication, literacy, science and technology statistics. He provides technical assistance to national authorities in adaptation of UIS methodologies, UIS standards, ISCED mapping activities, providing support the completion of UIS data collection instruments and also involved on capacity development for effective management and monitoring of progress towards national, regional and international goals such as WSIS, EFA and MDGs.

Responsibility Brief: Nafiou supports the UIS' main-line activities in the field as well as support country level activities and initiatives by acting as a resource person on statistics in the fields of education, culture and communication, literacy, science and technology.

Responsbility Brief: Aurélie  is in charge of establishing a professional network in the region and the collection and compilation of statistics for all UNESCO fields of competency. With the support of the Regional Advisor, she will also provide technical assistance to the Member States in regards to their statistical needs.

Responsibility Brief: Roshan joined the UIS-AIMS Unit in April 2010. He is mainly responsible for literacy and NFE statistics related programmes/activities in the region. He is currently involved in providing techncial support to the countries to undertake literacy household survey, developing capacity of member states in establishing and managing non formal education management system, undertaking evaluation of literacy related programmes such as mid decade assesment of LIFE in the region etc. He is also the focal point for the region to coordinate and to facilitate communication between UIS and other stakeholders to implement systematic lietracy assesment and monitoring programme (LAMP).

Responsibility Brief: Ann is responsible for enhancing the visibility of the unit's activities. Ann also organizes and supervises publication and information services. She is also responsible for updating and reporting financial information, organizing and managing meetings and workshops, managing correspondence and organizing the office to ensure smooth operation.

Responsibility Brief: Malisa is in-charge of the communication, information and publications of the UIS-AIMS Unit. She also conducts research and compiles new information and materials related to EFA, networks to expand the EFA contacts list and prepares the quarterly, regional EFA e-newsletters and other materials aimed at promoting the UIS-AIMS and EFA websites. Malisa also assists in the implementation of the EFA advocacy strategy, including coordinating with UNESCO Bangkok's Information and Knowledge Management Unit in preparing press releases, success stories for the media and strengthening media relations.
