Up to now, 5 APIN meetings have been held in Bangkok, Beijing, Kuala Lumpur, Hanoi and Manila.

5th session (Manila, Nov 2010)

UNESCO Bangkok,UNESCO National Commission of the Philippines (NatCom), and the UNESCO Information for All Programme (IFAP) convened the 5th Asia Pacific Information Network (APIN) Meeting and ICT Literacy Workshop in collaboration with the Asian Institute of Journalism and Communication (AIJC) in Manila on 23-26 November 2010.

4th session (Hanoi, Nov 2008) 

The 4th Session of APIN was hosted by the National Centre for Scientific and Technological Information and Documentation (NACESTID) in Hanoi, Vietnam on 26-28 November 2008.

The 3rd session of APIN was held in Malaysia from 26-28 February 2007.

2nd session (Beijing, Oct 2004)

The second APIN session was held on 21-23 October 2004 in Beijing, China. Thirty participants from seventeen countries in Asia and the Pacific highlighting the important role of information literacy in the region.
