4th SESSION (Hanoi, Nov 2008)

The 4th Session of APIN was hosted by the National Centre for Scientific and Technological Information and Documentation (NACESTID) in Hanoi, Vietnam on 26-28 November 2008.
Twenty delegates participate in the Fourth APIN session under the Information for All programme (IFAP). They discussed the implementation of national information policies and knowledge strategies; collaboration and cooperation in the development of information tools; suggested a strategy to support ICT and information literacy and an awareness-raising mechanism for APIN so that the network can have an impact in the Asia Pacific region.
