Pilipinas SchoolNet is committed to addressing the Digital Divide within the country--between those who have access to the Internet and those who do not--by promoting the effective and sustainable use of computers and the Internet in schools, particularly those in underserved communities. - University of the Philippines Open University

Its mission is to give its students formal qualification, as well as to develop in them the discipline and capability to become lifelong learners who are at home in today's knowledge society. - Infotech Training in Remote Places: The Philippines
The Infotech project aims to provide teachers and students from far flung areas of the country with the knowledge, skills, facilities, and the materials they need to use information technology. Infotech was piloted in 6 schools and 2 division offices in the two contiguous provinces of Antique and Guimaras in the West Visayas. - Coca-Cola Computer Learning Centres
Coca-Cola has established 15 Internet-connected computer centers in remote public schools across the Philippines. This community programme initiative has benefited over 15,000 Filipino schoolchildren in its first phase. Meanwhile, a comprehensive teacher-training component of the programme has trained over 630 public high school teachers and administrators.
