  • Training workshop on new pedagogy and ICT in Samarkand, Uzbekistan
    UNESCO Tashkent office in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan and INTEL Moscow has launched the first pilot training workshop on introduction of New Pedagogical and Information Communication Technologies in Education process in Uzbekistan.

  • Center of the Development Multi-medium General Education Programmes 
    Since 2006, the Ministry of Education Science and Technology (MEST) and the Korea Education Research Information Service (KERIS) have been promoting e-Learning globalization and education exports, efforts which are beginning to bear fruit. On September 23, MEST and KERIS launched a consulting project for an Uzbekistan ICT in education consulting project.

  • Conference to Explore Opportunities for Expanding ICT in Uzbekistan Education
    An international conference today will explore opportunities and strategies for using information and communications technology (ICT) as a key learning and teaching tool to support quality improvements across the curriculum in Uzbekistan. Organized by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan, the conference will discuss current constraints on the introduction of ICT in the country and the strategies proposed to address these constraints.
