Learners are now able to access the Training Modules on the Systematic Monitoring of Education for All (EFA) in an online learning format, designed to enhance the learning experience.

Freely choose to learn from different parts of the five training modules that cover the following topics: 

  1. Module A1: School records management; 
  2. Module A2: Data collection and quality control; 
  3. Module A3: Education indicators and data analysis; 
  4. Module A4: Use of information in monitoring, planning and management; and 
  5. Module A5: Data flow and information dissemination. 

This training package aims at strengthening capacities for EFA monitoring at all levels of national educational administrations, from officers at the Ministry of Education, provincial and district education offices to school head-teachers, teachers and managers. 

Those who wish to learn directly online and at their own pace about the latest methods and techniques needed to monitor progress in Education for All (EFA) at all levels of the education system will find these modules useful, practical and convenient.

The training modules were developed by the staff of the Asia-Pacific Regional Office of the UNESCO Institute for Statistics – Assessment, Information Systems, Monitoring and Statistics (UIS-AIMS) Unit at UNESCO Bangkok, under the guidance of an international expert group.
